Classic Roundtrip in Namibia & Botswana 2011 for -12- Days (including driver)

1.    Day – Arrival in Windhoek and Waterberg (ca. 307 km)
Pick-up at (international) airport und handing over of rental vehicle in Windhoek.  In northern direction via  Okahandja to a lodge at the Waterberg Plateau Park (park fees included).  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

2.     Day – Rundu / Okavango (ca. 579 km)
Via Otjiwarongo, Otavi and Grootfontein to Rundu on a lodge situated on the riverbanks of the Okavango.  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

3.    Day – Kasane / Chobe / BOTSWANA (ca. 601 km)
Crossing the Okavango river in easter direction through the Caprivi strip to Katima Mulilo.  Crossing the Ngoma bridge and entereing the Chobe National Park in Botswana to Kasane.  Two days stay on a lodge including dinner, accommodation and breakfast.

4.    Day – Victoria Falls / ZIMBABWE (ca. 100 km)
Excursion to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.  In the afternoon back to Kasane for a boat trip on the Chobe river (optional).  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included on a lodge

5.    Day – Mudumu National Park (ca. 257 km)
Back via the Chobe National Park in western direction to Namibia.  Entering Mudumu National Park situated in the Caprivi strip.  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included on lodge situated on the riverbanks of the Kwando river.

6.    Day – Tsumeb (ca. 705 km)
Back to Rundu via the Caprivi strip reaching Grootfontein in the mountain area next to Tsumeb.  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included on a guest farm.

7.    Day – Etosha (ca. 176 km)
Visiting the mine city of Tsumeb and the Otjikoto lake to a lodge situated at the eastern part of the Etosha pan.  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

8.    Day – Etosha (ca. 200 km)
Entering Etosha National Park via the Lindequist-Gate and Namutoni to Halali (park fees included).  Leaving Etosha in the late afternoon via the Andersons Gate for a lodge outside the park  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

9.    Day – Etosha / Okaukuejo (ca. 200 km)
Entering Etosha National Park again for sight seeing (park fees included).  Leaving Etosha in the late afternoon via the Andersons Gate for a lodge outside the park  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

10.    Day  - Private Game & Nature Reserve at Omaruru / Otjiwarongo (ca. 287 km)
Sight seeing at the Waterberg (park fees included).  Via Otjiwarongo on a private game & nature reserve near Omaruru at the Omatako mountains.  Dinner, accommodation and breakfast included.

11.    Windhoek (ca. 171 km)
Return via Okahandja  return via Okahandja (visit at crafts & wood market) to Windhoek.  Accommodation and breakfast in guesthouse.

12.    Windhoek & Departure (ca. 45 km)
One full day in Windhoek.   Sight seeing in Windhoek downtown and visiting of old German colonial buildings.  In the afternoon / evening transfer to Windhoek International airport for departure.

All rates are valid until 31st July 2011 and from 20th August until October 2011.
